How do I book a rental scooter?
Easy! You can use our super friendly and intuitive online book system, simply head over our Scooter Booking Page and complete your details…the await your scooter delivery!
What is the minimum subscription period?
What is the difference between renting and a subscription?
A subscription allows the renter to adjust the conditions, or add value as their situation changes.
Our plan offers a low base rate, allowing you the option to reduce your excess, add another driver, or simply rent with us at the lower rate – you decide!
Our 30 day minimum rental period allows you the freedom to test your ride before entering into any long-term commitment. Want an upgrade after 8,000kms? No problem! Simply request a swap via our user-friendly online system and we’ll have a new scooter on its way.
How much do I pay and when?
Scooturu Rentals offer a very affordable plan at a base rate of just $110 per week. Should you prefer fortnightly payment, you can also select this option. Our plan is designed to accommodate you should you aim to rent for months at a time – the longer you drive, the more you save!
From here, you will build your own plan to suit your needs and your budget. We have a range of valuable add-on’s such as:
- $5 add additional rider option.
- $5 excess reduction from $3000 down to $1250 option.
- $10 per week for a new bike every 8,000 kms subject to T&Cs. You will be guaranteed a new bike from the commencement of your rental period and every 8000kms hereafter.

Are the scooters insured?
Does the insurance policy cover me to user my Scooter for Food Delivery services, such as Uber Eats or Menulog?
Will you come to me for servicing?
Yes we can come to you to do a service and general maintenance FREE of charge but will need minimum 24 hours to arrange our driver, except Saturday and Sunday. You can also come to the workshop Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.
Is there a charge for delivery of the scooter?
Once you complete our pre-rental process, we provide scooter delivery free of charge within Sydney Metro region, including Sutherland Shire, Hurstville, Kogarah and Rockdale.
Our team will confirm a time and date for delivery that suits you.
Are there any upfront costs?
We also collect the first week’s rent so you are always paid in advance. By enabling direct debit, you never need to worry about keeping track of your invoices. Just submit your details through our user-friendly platform and let our team do the rest!
When will I receive the bond back?
Once you have passed all inspections and reviews, we will make the transfer into your account. You will then see the refund in your account 2-3 days from here.
How much notice do I have to give when returning the scooter?
What do I need to do if I breakdown or have an accident?
For accidents, please ensure you get a reference number and contact details for the regulating authority attending the incident and advise us of all these details.
Please also fill in the accident/ breakdown form online within 24 hours of the incident having taken place.
Will I receive a replacement scooter if I breakdown or have an accident? And if so when?
This is subject to availability. Within 24-48 hours or notifying us you have had an accident or breakdown.
What documents do I need to start the subscription?
For example, a combination of an Australian drivers licence, international licence, photocard ID and/or passport.
Is there a minimum age to subscribe?
